schoolwork during and after your treatment

You might be worried about your schoolwork and whether you will fall behind if you have to miss a lot of school.

There might be a teacher in the hospital you are staying in, who can help you if you feel well enough and they might be able to see you a couple of times a week at your bed.

Getting better is the main thing and you can always catch up with your school work later on. When going to school during or after your treatment, you can make the day feel special by wearing your favourite T-shirt or jumper. If you wear a uniform, you might wear your favourite shoes or a new hair band.

Here are a few tips for a fantastic school day:

  • Get plenty of sleep
  • Eat a healthy breakfast
  • Remember to pack your school bag

Take your time with school work and if you don't understand something, just ask your teacher.
