AHPs

Roles and Responsibilities
  • To act as a support network for group members as well as clinicians out with the group who are working with children and young people with cancer
  • To establish clinical guidelines for good practice for AHPs dealing with children and young people with cancer
  • To produce national AHP documentation to ensure consistency and equity
  • To explore suitable outcome measures and how best to capture feedback from service users, families, wider MDT and stake holders
  • To identify education and training needs for professionals     
  • To establish education and training resources that are readily available to all AHPs
  • To provide a forum for sharing of good practice and case studies as well as highlighting areas for potential development
  • To report back to the National Managed Service Network for Children and Young People with Cancer
