What to expect
When your child has been diagnosed with cancer it can be devastating. Parents can feel shock, disbelief, fear, guilt, sadness, anxiety, and anger – and it is perfectly normal to experience some or all of these emotions.
Information can be difficult to process when your child has been diagnosed – some parents feel as though their world has been turned upside down and that no matter how much information is to hand, it is impossible to take it all in.
