Teenagers and Young Adults with Cancer (TYAC)
Teenagers and Young Adults with Cancer (TYAC) believes that every young person with cancer has the right to prompt diagnosis and age-appropriate treatment and support from specialist professionals trained in caring for young people with cancer. We are a registered charity and the UK's only membership body open to all professionals involved in the care of teenagers and young adults with cancer.

NCRI - National Cancer Research Institute
We work together to improve health and quality of life by accelerating progress in cancer research through collaboration.

Teenage Cancer Trust believes that teenagers should not have to stop being teenagers just because they have cancer. They bring young people together so they can be treated together, by teenage cancer experts, in an environment suited to their needs. They do this by building specific units within a hospital setting specifically aimed at meeting the needs of young people. The aim of these units is to encourage young people to mix together and to provide a home from home environment for young people to feel comfortable in.
Teenage Cancer Trust have built, and now maintain 28 units across the UK. They are continuing to develop services so that all young people with cancer across the UK have access to the dedicated, specialist support they provide, no matter where they live.
Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ Teenage Cancer Trust is the only charity dedicated to making this happen.
Teenage Cancer Trust also funds specialist nurses and youth support coordinators across the country. Experts in teenage and young adult cancer care, they provide support and expertise, develop services and research, deliver professional education and training and represented advocate nationally and internationally on behalf of Teenage Cancer Trust.
We lead the world in the care of young people with cancer. Together with these young people, their families and the passion of our supporters, we’re challenging the NHS and transforming lives.
